Summer improvements

This is our back porch, I call it "back" because it enters into the kitchen. Anyway, I got 3 new chairs and 3 new pots and had fun moving plants around.

In the states, I would go to a garden store and buy new plants and potting soil and plant food. Here, I just look around my yard for plants/flowers that I like, dig up some dirt and put it all together. It's pretty hard to kill things here. My friend, Martha had this canister set for years, and I had it on top of my cupboards, just looking pretty and getting dusty, so now...presto...planters. I might make a wind chime out of the metal lids. Thanks Martha!
