New hosp 2...

Recovery room. We just got those cupboards moved yesterday, they are from the old hospital. Olivia is getting the old labels off.
Our fancy, smancy scrub sink that works! Great job Mike!
Opertaing Theater (I think that is a British term) or Operating room. It is so nice and new and clean! Through that door is our sterile stock room.
Inside surgical ward. Not a good picture, but it is going to be great!

New hospital....

Hallway in the out patient department. This will be doctor's exam rooms on the right and nurse's screening on the left (not in the picture)
Pharmacy! Looks good, huh Dan? I love the little double bench outside.
This is the outside of the outpatient. If I had to guess, it faces west, towards Hagen. But I could be wrong.
Walk way between wards. We have some beautiful plants and flowers growing, this picture doesn't do them justice.
More picts to come!

Getting ready to move

While our camera was missing, we borrowed Andy's camera and he had some nice pictures on it, so I am stealing them. Above are nursing getting things from the store room for the move to the new hospital.
Central supply getting some things to move over.
Labeling new towels to be used at the new hospital. We write locations on items in hopes that they will not be stolen! The big move starts on November. I have been going up and labeling different areas to get organized. Will put up some of my own pictures soon.

Wiley's picnic lunch

Wiley was turning 2. I had just made a tea set for new friends and then decided to try making some play food for a little boy!
Ham, cheese, lettuce, tomato sandwich anyone?
Fried eggs and bacon were my first attempt.
What fun! Lots of web sites show felt food, which I believe would be easier to work with. I used cotton material, because that is what I had. I had to worry about the raw edges, where you wouldn't with felt, but I love the patterns the material adds.

The "table cloth" is a folded sheet to coffee table size. I used "boy" fabrics for plate and cup markers and napkins. The fabrics are fish, planets, tropical frogs/geckos and marbles. The napkin are not sewn down, so Wiley gets some fun matching and with shapes of circle, square and triangle.

If you squint at the picture, you can see 2 pancakes with maple syrup and butter, spaghetti and meatballs, oranges, pizza, watermelon, cookies, strawberries, french fries, a cupcake and a tortilla.

I can't wait to make more! Watch out nephews!
