Grand finale…the turkey pinata!  It was a great party!

Phone help!

Due to a recent power surge/lighting strike we lost all of our inter-station phone lines.

Hard to call your friend for advice, even harder for MD’s on call at the hospital.  Nurses must find security, security must walk to the doc’s house, get enough courage to knock, get the MD and then walk up to the hospital to help.

So, we have help, Dave from Australia, is putting in a new phone system!  Stanley and Jeff are helping and learning the system inside and out!

A couple extra students on Tuesday added a lot more fun, and made our kindergarten time shorter!

Unstaying party!

Any reason for a theme party and we Kudjipians go crazy!

Fabric shopping

Project Save sent many boxes of material in their recent container.  I was super excited to go through all the boxes.  So many great colors and fabrics!  I kept them in my laundry room for a couple weeks and finally decided what to do with them!

Saturday morning, I spent about an hour sorting out the colors, and putting them into pleasing piles that someone could put together into a quilt.

Then I went up and invited the College of Nursing girls to come down and pick out a pile of fabric.

The girls quickly made their own collection of colors and sizes and shapes of fabrics.  Everyone walked home with a bag full of material and plans to cut some of them into squares.   The girls will come back and we will make quilts together.  It will be fun!  Thanks Project Save for your giving!
