Princess Allison

Allison and I had a special treat yesterday. I asked Scott to drop us off and I would call him when we needed picked up. We went and had a manicure and pedicure! It was so fun!
I think that I have had 3 pedicures and maybe 3 manicures in my life! This was Allison's first. She was so excited. Allie was pretty quite during the process. She just had a smile on her face the entire time that wouldn't quit!
The toes before....
The toes after! I liked Allison's blue toes so much that I did the same on mine. They did a 10 or 15 minute massage of our legs with lotion that made our legs all tingly. Scott had given me money for Valentines for a massage, but I decided to do this girl bonding with my 10 year old instead. It was lots of fun. Emma and Olivia were not left out. Olivia got a new braclet to replace the one that broke and Emma had a special time as well, but it is her secret, and she will have to tell you!

It's a big hole!

Monday, Feb 18th, we had a wonderful drive from Pheonix to the Grand Canyon. We went from desert and catus to mountains and snow in just 3 hours! It was a great time of seeing the state of Arizona. The girls all enjoyed the snow and the canyon. We traveled with our friends, the Sawyers, actually their vechicles and their generosity made the trip happen! We stayed right at the canyon overnight and had many adventures on Tuesday as well. It was a great relaxing time. Olivia was grumpy for quite awhile until I figured out it was noon and she was probably hungry. We had such a big breakfast, no one else was hungry yet. Livy got some food and a nap and was a bit more happy, but she is going through a pretty whiney age! She is available for a visit to your house when those whiney bugs bite! We never got tired of looking into the canyon and being amazed by God's hand.

We have just spent a great weekend with Arizona district Caravan Camp at Pine Rock Camp in Prescott, Arizona.

What a wonderful time of learning more about God. Allison met a great friend and they were inseperatable for 2 days. Emma made friends with everyone!
Saturday morning, Gail shared the typical day of a PNG boy with video. The evening service, Scott spoke more about PNG and the altar was flooded with children praying.
Sunday morning, Gail shared about hearing God's voice and how important it is to listen to God every day.
Allison and Emma had fun with Olympics and hikes, and memory work, and field trips. Thank you for praying for us. We are back here next weekend to do the same!

Fun on the Farm

We have spent a couple weeks with Grammer and Papa, Gail's parents, and have had many adventures.

Olivia is finally letting us style her hair with something other than a barette, although she did have to be bribed with candy at the end of the day if she kept her piggy tails in all day.
Allison loves super gymnastics! She was super swinging on Grammer's cabinets and landed right on her face. Notice the bruised nose, we think it was probably broken, but what can you do?? She also got a fat lip, but was just acting funny in the picture.
We rode mules and horses on Saturday. It was a great day and lots of fun. Perfect weather.
Grammer is teaching Em and Al how to embroider. They are all having a great time.
The weather is cool in Kansas this week and we are heading to Arizona on Friday. I need to get some pictures of us speaking on Sundays. The Lord is always present and blessing our services. Thanks so much for your prayers.
