Finer things of life…
Blog, by blog, I’ll eventually catch you up on our Thailand adventures.
What a treat to eat out! Restaurants! Where what you order is served!
Then, Al, Em, and Scott tried the health effects of a “fish spa”. Hair washes and cuts. I think the girls could count on one hand the number of times they have had their hair washed and cut.
Of course the amazing feet massages, enjoyed by all of us but Olivia, who took pictures, and didn’t seem to get the relaxing part of a massage.

Thailand fresh fish market
Finally, Chiang Mai Thailand
The others in our Kudjip group went to the ziplines. Olivia and I went to pet/see/ride the elephants. Notice how far Olivia is away from the elephant I am petting! She commented that riding the elephant was “terrifying”.
We all went white water rafting in the afternoon, but didn’t get pictures of that.
Still going.
Well, for the best prices of tickets, we got to got to go to one Malaysia airport find a bus, pay for that with local currency, load the bus at 11pm, go for a 45 minute bus ride through the city, unload at the side of the road, run across the busy street/highway across another street, into a hotel, past midnight by now, check in, awake at 5:30am, to go to the nearby airport, to check in for our 8 am flight.
Off to Thailand!
Mount Vernon University team
During the month of Jan, this incredible team of students and adults came to Kudjip to help out and learn about cross cultural issues.
They were full of fun, energy, excitement, and enthusiasm! What a blessing they were to us!
