Sushi night

 

   

Scott said he would make sushi, I prepped some things then we remembered that Allie had plans for supper.  So extra sushi was around, we found some friends who enjoy the acquired taste, and had a great time.  YUM!

4th of July

Boy!  Am I behind!  I had 149 pictures on my camera to down load, and I then realized how long since I have blogged!

 

Here are the girls and I on the 3rd of July actually, ready for the English church service, pot luck and games.  Don’t I have great lookin kids?

Sonic Supper

I arrive home at 4pm from helping in surgery.  The house was all abuzz, and no one was telling me what was going on for supper.  So, I did some computer work until Allison told me we had to go out to supper.  We got in the car, drove around our circle drive and into the car port.

There was a sign and menu for SONIC in the car port and a cute little waitress came out to take our order.  There were all of my favorite choices.  I think we all ordered cheese burgers, onion rings, and sundaes.  A couple of us got a Cherry-Limeaid.

   Or order came very quickly.

 

The waitress and chef came out and ate with us too.

I think we are all feeling that the 6 months until furlough is a long time away.  It was very fun for us to pretend to be back for a little while.    We decided we’d all go to the mall and where Aunt Wetta works and swimming while we were in the states.  Nice night.

When the gecko crawled in through the open car window, we remembered that we were not in Kansas anymore.

Cutest Kid Awards

 

Lexi gets the cutest 5 year old award!  

This little guy, Isaiah, gets the cutest patient of the day award!  He had a bladder stone the size of a large grape removed.  Before surgery, his Grandma would tell him to “smile” in tok ples and this is what he’d give us!

Guinea Pig Babysitting.

Our friends were gone to Australia and asked us to watch their guinea pigs.  The girls are really enjoying playing with them, feeding them, and moving them  to fresh grass every day.

Emma didn’t like it too much when she found a mess on her lap, under Nutmeg!  But it didn’t stop her from holding them.

 

New Friends

A work and witness team came to help work on a foundation for a new duplex here at Kudjip.  We were so happy to find that there were 2 girls Allison’s age!  Allie got to join them in working on the site, observing at the hospital, and in on some of their fun.  One night we had the girls over for a movie and sleep over.
