As we are in the states this Easter season, we are surrounded by plastic eggs, marshmallow chicks and books about spring.

As Christians we know that Christ's resurrection is the true meaning. I want to share what my friend Judy wrote in an email:

Sunday night (at a remote village-Dusin, PNG) they showed the Jesus Film in church, it had not been played for 8-10 years. Everything was going wrong with the equiptment, first the generator, then the dvd, then the projector, then everything. It felt like a lot of opposition. Finally everything was working at the same time. They had to stop the film at the crufixion and have an altar call because so many people were crying. There were probably 1000 people crowded in to see the film. The altar was probably 15 people deep praying. Ladies were climbing over the pews to get to the altar. They prayed for a long time and then started the film again and showed the ressurection. It was very wonderful.

We have the good news here too- may God open your eyes today to who needs to hear it!

SUSHI!!

Our family and Scott's sister's family got together on Saturday for a sushi making frenzy! Scott left early to go get the ingredients at several grocery stores.

All of the kids got involved in the action of sushi making. But Cameron was the one who stuck through it all to the end!

Joetta made a whole bunch of Crab Raggoon which we devoured with no problem!

Saturday was a fun filled day with lots of memories and full tummys by the end of lunch!

Gail's birthday!!!

The girls brought me Coke in bed-I don't really do breakfast until about 10am. Around then we went to Krispy Kremes! Yum!

I went out to lunch with girl friends and then bought my birthday present for myself at the mall.

Our friends had us over for supper and what a wonderful time!

I had a red velvet cake with cake batter ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery. Next time, I would just stick with my normal order of cake batter ice cream with cookie dough add in-on Tuesdays they are buy one-get one free of the kiddy size!

I am thankful for another year (up to 35 now)and another day of life, but at the same time, looking forward to when I can sit at Jesus's feet for eternity.

Livy gets a hair cut!

March 12th-Olivia and Mama head to Cookie Cutters for a hair cut! Livy's hair was long and very thin, fine, baby hair!

Cookie Cutters is too much fun with videos to watch and great cars to sit in. Books to look at and a slide to play on while waiting. Olivia told Daddy that "I got my hairs cuts" and that "they blowed me and blowed me and brushed me and tickled me"

It seems too soon for our little Livy to look so grown up!

Sking

What fun! Allison and Emma did ski lessons at ElDora today. Scott was suprised at how well he was able to pick sking back up and was in shape enough to keep going. I was sick with the flu or something...so Livy and I watched and hung out at the hotel. It was a wonderful family day that ended with supper from the grocery store and a dip in the hot tub with the snow blowing!

just keep traveling on!

We have gotten into a pattern of being in cars for a number of hours! Now as we are taking off in the car, Emma asks "how many hours this time?". It was up before sunrise today to head to the airport. Olivia said "Sun is waking up!" I think that it had been awhile since she saw a beautiful Kansas sunrise.

You can pray for us and we are traveling and I (Gail) am sick with a cold, that makes the hours even longer!
