Guinea Pig Babysitting.

Our friends were gone to Australia and asked us to watch their guinea pigs.  The girls are really enjoying playing with them, feeding them, and moving them  to fresh grass every day.

Emma didn’t like it too much when she found a mess on her lap, under Nutmeg!  But it didn’t stop her from holding them.

 

New Friends

A work and witness team came to help work on a foundation for a new duplex here at Kudjip.  We were so happy to find that there were 2 girls Allison’s age!  Allie got to join them in working on the site, observing at the hospital, and in on some of their fun.  One night we had the girls over for a movie and sleep over.

Last Day of school!

 

The kids had their last devotion time with Aunt Diane.  Then watched The Indian in the Cupboard movie, we had just finished reading the book.10 am, we headed off to get some PNG friends from the ACE school.  Then was track and field time organized by Jordan.    Running, jumping, throwing, snacks.    

And finished with pig, pig, chicken.  (our version of duck, duck, goose, since there is no word for goose)

Last of the last day of school

 

Finally, after 2 hours of fun in the sun, we headed down to our house for lunch.     

Ending the party with some confetti pops.  What a great school year!

Afternoon at the Highlander

 

Allison was done with school this week, but the MK school was still going until noon. 

We filled up the van, and headed in on Wednesday afternoon.  Spent 3 hours at the pool.  It was great weather.  The girls had not stayed in the water that much for a long time!  Fun afternoon.

Last adventures on the town…

 

As our weekend progressed, I took fewer pictures.  We finally went swimming at Gateway, which only has a little sign off to the side requesting the pool for guests only.  We have asked before and they let us swim.  We did buy shrimp and drinks. 

  

Next to the Japanese restaurant, I found a little oasis.  We made an appointment and I went back for a massage on Saturday.  It was very nice.

Finished off the weekend at the Italian restaurant, which was yummy.  Then up and off to the airport to head back to the girls.  Leaving Scott to enjoy his meetings.
