St Louis

What a fun weekend! The kids played pirates at every spare moment! Searching for treasures, following maps, attacking other pirate ships.

We had all day Saturday free. After Allaster and Debbie got their jobs done, we headed to St Louis to the City Museum. It is an amazing place! A 5 story building that 2 art students took over and redecorated, that is a child or adults paradise! We climbed through tunnels and down slides that were 3 stories long for 8 hours! Art projects were made and circus's watched and knees bruised we headed back to our friend's home. We are truly thankful for great friends and great times.

On Martin Luther King day, Monday, we made the most of the holiday and took the cousins and Grandma bowling. Cameron, Griffin, and Aidyn were all very good bowlers. My girls were loving the new adventure that we hadn't tried for a couple years. Griffin won one game and Emma the other. I think that I (Gail) won for the most gutterballs!

The girls are doing well with the adjustment to America, so much that Scott and I headed off to Branson, MO for a little couple time. Pastor and Kris Carlson generously let us use their time share and we had a wonderful time. I don't think that I had every been away from Olivia for 2 nights in her whole life.

Then after our time playing, we had to make up for the time off from school and watching too much tv, so we hit the school work hard on Wednesday and Thursday.

Friday we drove to St Louis to play with the Adam's family and speak on Sunday.

You can keep praying for us as we share that what we say will reach people's hearts not just for the day, but that God will touch their hearts for eternity.

Dooley Deputation Promo Video

Ice Skating

Friday, December 11th, the 5 Dooley's and Gail's parents headed to Crown Center in KC. We had such a great day. There were multiple stops on the way up to Crown Center and 30 stuck in non-moving traffic that was filled with continuous "why are we stopping mommy?" PNG kids understand road blocks by bad guys but not traffic jams.

The girls were thrilled to find that Crown Center had ice skating and we all had a great time. Olivia had dozed off in the car right after arriving, so she and Papa rested in the car while the rest of us hit the ice!

Allison and Emma were pretty hesitant at first and stayed very close to the walls, but before we left, they were racing around and having a blast.

I have now reached the age that my kid's energy level is surpassing my own, I was ready to go after only an hour of skating and convenced the girls that shopping would be more fun. It wasn't too long of shopping before they were ready to go back to the ice. Daddy took the girls to skate again and I shopped a bit more with mom and dad was patiently waiting on the benches outside the stores.

We rounded up the day with supper at the plaza at Cheesecake Factory. The Plaza lights were beautiful. We all sang songs on the hour trip back to Princeton, Kansas.

Sunday was speaking at Independence, Kansas and Sunday pm at Garnett Kansas. Our great heavenly Father was with us and His presence was real at our services. Thanks for your prayers as we share.

Happy b-day Allie!

Allison is 10!

Allie started her day with balloons, hot chocolate and doughnuts for breakfast.

We went to Applebees for lunch and swimming in the afternoon, at the indoor YMCA, about 30 mintues from Grammer and Papa's house.

The evening was a party with family, Pizza Hut pizza, and a DQ ice cream cake. The party had a fairy theme as did a lot of her presents.

Allie is a beautiful girl and we are so blessed to have her in our family.

Hari cuts and DQ

Al, Em and I all got our hair cut on Friday. There was a huge pile of blond hair on the floor when we were done. It had been since Feb 07 for Allison and Emma's first real hair cut. We celebrated with Dairy Queen on our way home. -ahh America!

Our first Sunday of sharing with churches went well. We had a good time. Left the house at 7:30 am and returned at 10:30pm, so a long day, but very blessed by God's people.
